Libraries

 

A 2008 HELP International Uganda volunteer helps set up a library

In all of the countries we serve, access to books is very limited. Communities do not have libraries and most classrooms only have one textbook.


Providing access to books gives children the opprotunity to increase literacy and learn outside of the classroom. In 2008, HELP International built three libraries and donated over 2000 books.
