Office Interns

Every semester HELP offers internship opportunities in the areas of human resources, public relations, recruiting, training, marketing, graphic design, grant writing, finance, international development, and many other Major inclusive disciplines. HELP looks for motivated individuals that can work on their own as well as with others. HELP International looks for people willing to work hard on a variety of projects and tasks. HELP will work with your institution to set up a program if you choose to receive academic credit for your internship. Individuals applying to be interns should be willing to learn new skills and take initiative. While these internships are unpaid, our interns are rewarded by practical work experience, the opportunity to interact closely with the staff, and to further our social mission. Interested individuals can apply any time of year here. We typically work with office interns on a four month rotational basis, though some interns have continued working for 8-12 months. Depending on need, talent, and work performance, we sometimes will offer (1) paid work at the end of an internship, (2) scholarships that greatly reduce the cost of a summer program, or (3) favorable reference letters. These are all considered on a per case basis.
