Tanzania

Hakuna matata! Only recently added to HELP's repertoire, impact in Tanzania has been phenomenal. Partners from extremely diverse demographics allow for participants in Tanzania to brush up on their Swahili, work with a large variety of people, and be the change in a whole new way. With the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro ever present and some of the largest national wildlife parks in the world, this is what Africa is all about. Rural tribes and urban centers make for an experience of a lifetime in Tanzania.

Uganda

HELP's first African location has grown to take two teams of participants every year. For a taste of rural life or to take on challenges faced by a more urban setting, Uganda has both sides between the Lugazi and Mbale teams. As with all African locations, participants work on some of the most prevalent issues faced by the world's poor in Uganda, and with long-time partners in country, projects are beginning to make larger impacts every year.
